At 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds, he has an NFL body type. Though he will lineup attached to the line of scrimmage, he is more of a move tight end in wingback and slot alignments. He has some good natural movements for a player with his measurables, and he has a high YAC percentile over the last two years because of it. He has good hands with generally high catch percentages throughout his career, but in contested situations, he could attack the ball more when it’s in the air.
As a blocker, he leaves much to be desired. Though he has the frame for run blocking, he must get much stronger to be considered a full TE1 with inline responsibilities. He can struggle to block defensive backs between the shoulders and locked up, let alone hold on to box defenders.
