Paul needs to add some mass to his frame, but he can eventually become a starting Will linebacker in the league, thanks to his athleticism and intelligence.
Height 6′ 1″
Weight 235
Class Jr.
Age 22.4
Paul’s 87.2 PFF grade ranked seventh among all FBS linebackers, and he was one of three who posted 78.0-plus grades in run-defense, coverage and as a pass-rusher. He’s a fluid and explosive player who rarely misses tackles. Paul’s biggest issues are his lack of length and strength, which show up most when he’s taking on blocks. He projects as an impact special-teamer while he adds weight to his frame.

Pros
- Fluid athlete. Allows him to make plays sideline-to-sideline and stick with RBs/TEs in man coverage
- Outstanding tackler. Only missed 6.2% of attempts since 2023
- Weapon as a blitzer. Explosive downhill
- Excellent communicator pre-and-post snap. Was the QB of Ole Miss’ defense
Cons
- Very undersized. Weight is in the second percentile for position, while arm length is in the first percentile.
- His lack of size shows up when attempting to shed blocks. Gets washed out of plays by offensive linemen and even tight ends.
- Not as good in tight spaces as he is in open field.
